What I Do

I work with you to identify the goals you have for yourself. Simply put, I ask you what success looks like for you. I don’t talk at you, I work with you and listen to what you want. Using that as a roadmap, we will work together to find the combination of supports that get you moving toward those goals.

Some examples of skills I have worked on:

  • Social Skills & Relationships
    • Making and keeping friends
    • Types of social relationships and the “rules” for each of them
    • Dating
    • Consent
    • Identifying red and green flags
    • Recognizing when you are being taken advantage of
    • Standing up to bullies

    • Establishing boundaries

  • Work & Financial

What I Don’t Do

  • Therapy.  I am not a therapist, and I cannot diagnose or treat any mental health condition.  If you are seeing a mental health provider, you should continue seeing them while working with me.  If you feel that one would help you, I can offer support while you navigate finding one that will help you.
  • Medical Diagnosis / Medical Care.  I am not a physician.  I do not treat, diagnose, or prescribe medications for any medical condition.  If you need to see a doctor, I can offer support while you navigate making appointments and advocating for your care.
  • Financial planning.  I am not a financial planner nor accountant. I do not offer advice on investments, taxes, or public benefit programs. I can support you in setting up a bank account or deciding on a monthly budget that meets your other goals.
  • Tell you what to do.  You are in control.  This is your life, and we will work together to help you reach your definition of success.  I offer suggestions, support, guidance, and a safe place to figure out what will work for you.
