Maybe it was your kid’s evaluation that cracked it open. Maybe it was a friend’s diagnosis, a video that described your entire childhood in 30 seconds, or just one too many years of being called “too much.” Whatever got you here, you’re now looking at your whole life through a different lens, and it’s a lot.
Getting an autism or ADHD diagnosis as an adult isn’t the end of a search. It’s the start of a different one. I offer neuro-affirming support for late-diagnosed autism and ADHD.
If you’re also looking for support as a parent, that page covers the other half of it
Crystalena didn’t get her full picture early, either.
While diagnosed autistic as a kid, her own ADHD diagnosis came as an adult. It was putting both pieces together that was the eye-opening moment.
In addition to her personal experience, Crystalena brings a PhD in human development and current research engagement around autism and ADHD.
This isn't about becoming "normal" or "a better version of yourself." It's about understanding and thriving the way you are.
Support from a therapist who is autistic with ADHD, not someone reciting a training they had.
Unmasking, burnout recovery, relationships, and rebuilding a life around how your brain actually works — not the one you've been performing.
Space to be angry, relieved, sad, and hopeful about your diagnosis, sometimes all in the same session, without being rushed to “move on.”
You don’t need a diagnosis in hand, a binder of research, or a five-step plan. Just start with the concerns you have today.
Consultations are free, and currently available within a week of booking.
Sessions are $60 – $125 on a sliding scale. No insurance required.

I didn’t talk much at all until I was 4, and I mostly echoed phrases back until I was about 6. I went through years of occupational, speech, and ABA therapies throughout childhood. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was an undergraduate in college. Wanting to learn more about myself led me to earn a PhD in human development from the University of Tennessee.
No. I’m happy to work with people who suspect they’re neurodivergent but haven’t pursued a formal diagnosis, as well as those who are late-diagnosed or diagnosed as a child.
I see clients in person in Nacogdoches, TX. I also see clients across Texas using telehealth.
